Jonno Field
Jonno Field is a Senior Online Editor at The Farm, finishing shows to the highest standard and ensuring they’re broadcast-ready. Jonno’s career in television began in 1987 in Wiltshire, before moving to London in 1989. Over the years, he has worked at several major Soho post houses, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the technical and creative processes behind exceptional television.
Reflecting on the changes in technology since he started, Jonno appreciates how far the industry has come—no longer wrestling with ten VT machines to sync up simultaneously, but instead harnessing advanced tools that make the creative process more accessible and dynamic. Jonno has worked across a wide range of genres and projects, from iconic shows like Blind Date and the original Gladiators, to comedy staples such as I’m Alan Partridge and Billy Connolly’s World Tour of Scotland; and even cooking shows with Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay.
Being part of award-winning and groundbreaking series such as Educating Essex has been a career highlight, cementing Jonno’s reputation for quality, creativity, and dedication to the craft of Post-Production.
